Candy shares her life with Elke Geisler of Berghamen, Germany.

She began her show career, at 12 months of age, at a specialty show where she won her first challenge certificate and went on to Best of Breed. On her journey she has had several Best of Breeds and more recently Best of Breed Veterans. Some of her wins include the following:

• 3rd in FCI Group 5 at the 1999 International Dog Show at Lingen, Germany
• 3rd Best Veteran in Show at the October 2006 International Dog Show Hannover
• Best Veteran in Show at the 2007 German Spitz Club Speciality Show
• 3rd Best Veteran in Show at the April 2008 International Dog Show held at Lingen, Germany
• 3rd Best Veteran in Show at the May 2008 International Dog Show at Saarbrücken, Germany
• Top Winning Veteran in Germany in 2006 and 2007
• 3rd Top Winning Keeshond in Germany in 2006 at 8 years of age, and
• 2nd Top winning Keeshond in Germany in 2007 at 9 years of age.

Also, in 2000 she passed the exam for companion dog.
